Spartan League Italia è una lega a carattere nazionale di fastpitch misto, organizzata in cooperazione con alcune delle maggiori realtà sportive nazionali di questo ambito.
Spartan League Italia nasce a livello embrionale nel 2021. A novembre dello stesso anno ne viene disegnato il meccanismo e presentato in un roadshow ad alcune delle società storiche del nostro paese come Torino, Bollate, Bologna, Roma.
Da quel momento viene costruita una rete di relazioni tra team che conduce alla realizzazione della prima edizione della Spartan in tempo per l'inizio della stagione successiva.
Tra gli obbiettivi della Spartan League Italia, dare maggiori opportunità di gioco a formazioni provenienti da ogni angolo d'Italia, la spinta a favorire un rinnovamento del settore, una maggiore coesione tra realtà sportive molto diverse tra loro e non ultimo una maggior integrazione con i molti atleti stranieri che vivono, lavorano e giocano stabilmente nel nostro paese.
Il playball della prima edizione della Spartan League Italia viene chiamato in contemporanea a Novara (concentramento divisione Ovest) e a Roma (concentramento divisione centro) nel maggio del 2022.

Nata con prerogative di competitività sportiva e spirito di aggregazione ed inclusione, questa Lega di fastpitch mista, la Spartan ha come primo obbiettivo quello dell'aggregazione.
Alla lega prendono parte giocatori di entrambi i sessi e che provengono da molte nazioni diverse.
Il campionato si disputa per la prima volta del 2022 e viene pensato per avere la massima estensione territoriale. Dunque strutturato in tre Divisioni - Est, Ovest e Centro.
Ogni girone consta di due giornate di gioco ed e' organizzato per concentramenti: la formula all’italiana con partite di andata e ritorno.
Al termine della stagione, il team con piu’ punti nella classifica finale (di ogni girone) accede alla final four assieme alla migliore seconda classificata delle tre divisioni.
Il trofeo della Spartan e’ di tipo Defender (viene rimesso in palio la stagione successiva fintanto che una formazione non lo vinca per tre volte).
Nel 2022 la prima Final Four si svolge sui tre campi da gioco dello stadio Torri di Modena: con i Bears di Bologna, guidati dal manager, Principe 'Cip' ad aggiudicarsi per la prima volta nella sua storia l'ambito trofeo.
L'indisponibilita' dello Stadio modenese, dovuta a lavori di ammodernamento, spinge gli organizzatori a cercare una nuova casa.
Cosi l’edizione delle finali del 2023, tenutasi alla fine del mese di Ottobre, viene organizzata nella struttura del Bollate (MI), che con i suoi quattro campi da gioco e' il salotto buono del softball sia italiano che internazionale.

Spartan League Italy is a national mixed fastpitch league, organized in cooperation with some of the major national sports organizations in this area. Spartan League Italia was born at an embryonic level in 2021. In November of the same year the mechanism was designed and presented in a roadshow to some of the historic clubs of our country such as Turin, Bollate, Bologna, Rome. From that moment on, a network of relationships between teams was built which led to the creation of the first edition of the Spartan in time for the start of the following season. Among the objectives of the Spartan League Italy are to give greater playing opportunities to teams from every corner of Italy, the push to encourage a renewal of the sector, greater cohesion between very different sporting realities and, last but not least, greater integration with the many foreign athletes who live, work and play permanently in our country.
The playball of the first edition of the Spartan League Italy is called simultaneously in Novara (Western division concentration) and in Rome (Central division concentration) in May 2022.
Born with the prerogatives of sporting competitiveness and a spirit of aggregation and inclusion, this mixed fastpitch league, Spartan has aggregation as its first objective. Players of both sexes and from many different countries take part in the league. The championship will be held for the first time in 2022 and is designed to have the maximum territorial extension.
Therefore structured into three Divisions - East, West and Centre. Each group consists of two days of play and is organized by concentration: the Italian formula with home and away matches. At the end of the season, the team with the most points in the final ranking (of each group) advances to the final four together with the best runner-up of the three divisions.
The Spartan trophy is a Defender Cup type (it is up for grabs the following season until a team wins it three times).
In 2022 the first Final Four takes place on the three playing fields of the Torri stadium in Modena: with the Bologna Bears, led by manager Principe 'Cip', winning the coveted trophy for the first time in its history. The unavailability of the Modena Stadium, due to modernization works, pushes the organizers to look for a new home. Thus the 2023 edition of the finals, held at the end of October, is organized in the Bollate (MI) facility, which with its four playing fields is the center of both Italian and international softball.
